The AIR wind generator was introduced in late 2001 by Southwest Windpower. The AIR was state of the art technology which previously existed in only much larger generators.
The latest AIR-X wind generator is another step forward. It has better battery charging capabilities, less “flutter”, and better performance and reliablity than even the AIR. This is accomplished using the latest microprocessor technology.
The controller of the AIR-X wind generator can actually control blade rotation speed. This eliminates the buzzing noise commonly found with small generators. Peak-power tracking also optimizes the alternator’s output to the battery.
These AIR-X wind generators are available for both land and marine use.
